Retirement Road Trip, Day 5 - Across Utah

Another happily uneventful four hundred plus miles across stunning, rugged landscape brought us to  St. George, UT, where the temperature was 54 degrees.  We shed our winter coats for the first time.  There are palm trees here!  And a Mormon temple! 

We are fans of LaQuinta Inn.  Why?  Well, they're clean, cheap and reliable with enough amenities to please weary travelers; but that's only part of it.  They are dog-friendly!
